MBBG Mission
Groups and individuals of all ages volunteer to maintain the Garden, and in the process learn how to choose, plant and maintain water-wise plants that promote wildlife. Here we see a local Ecology Club, office staff from Boeing, a Cub Scout pack and one of our many local seniors.

Many students from local high schools and colleges choose MBBG to fulfill community service hours as well. They always make big improvements to the garden. Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts too, look to MBBG for big projects. To date, there have been 7 Eagle projects and 1 Gold project added to the garden including the Meditation Garden deck, benches, a composting toilet and a new Succulent Garden.
